James McNamara has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. James started their career as an MBA Management Intern at YouTube in 2008, where they worked on developing an international growth and monetization strategy for YouTube's Partner Program. James later joined Accenture in 2003, initially as a Strategy Engagement Lead in the Financial Services sector and then as a Strategy Executive in the Communications, Media, and Technology sector from 2008 to 2013.

In 2013, they joined eXelate, a Nielsen Company, where they played a key role in expanding the company's commercial efforts to include data management and analytics solutions that connect marketers to consumers across various platforms. Nielsen eventually acquired eXelate in March 2015.

Following this, McNamara joined Nielsen itself in 2015 as the Senior Vice President of Advertiser and Marketing Cloud. Here, they held a high-level position responsible for leading the company's operations in the Advertising and Marketing Cloud sectors.

In 2019, they moved on to assume the role of Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations at both Translation and UnitedMasters, where they continue to utilize their expertise in driving and managing commercial operations within the organizations.
