Sophia Jin

Sophia Jin is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Senior Principal of Venture Investment at Translink Capital since April 2023, focusing on companies that contribute to decarbonization, particularly in climate tech, retail/commerce, and digital healthcare. Prior to this role, Sophia held significant positions at Hanwha Solutions USA as Senior Vice President, leading venture investments, and spent several years at Hanwha Group in various capacities including Senior Director and Director, where Sophia was involved in investing in disruptive technologies. With a strong background in marketing and strategy within the solar industry at Hanwha Q CELLS, Sophia's career also includes experience in managing post-merger integration and venture investment initiatives. Sophia earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Stanford University and a BA in Business Administration from Seoul National University.
