Ilan Elgar

Ilan Elgar is a seasoned professional in transportation planning and analytics with extensive experience in various leadership roles at TransLink since April 2011, including Director of Research & Analytics and Manager of Transportation Forecasting. Prior to TransLink, Ilan held positions as a Transportation Planner at IBI Group and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California Transportation Center. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Senior Transportation Planner at Ayalon Highways Co. and a Transportation Economist at the Israel Institute for Transportation Planning and Research. Ilan holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, an MA in Geography, and a BA in Economics & International Relations from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
