Luziélio Filho

Luziélio Filho has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they are working as a Principal Cardiothoracic Procurement Surgeon at TransMedics, Inc. Luziélio also holds the position of Professor Adjunto at Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (Oficial) since 2017. In addition, they have worked as a Coordinator of Pediatric Thoracic Surgery at Hospital Estadual Infantil Dr. Alzir Bernardino Alves from 2015 to present and as a Coordinator of Respiratory Endoscopy and Tracheal Surgery at Hospital Estadual Infantil Nossa Senhora da Glória de Vitória from 2011 to present. Luziélio Filho's previous roles include working as a Thoracic Surgeon at Unimed Vitória from 2008 to present, where they were also involved in Lung Transplantation. Luziélio has also held the position of Executive Partner at MedConsulta from 2017 to 2023 and served as the Medical Superintendent and Medical Coordinator at Samp ES Assistência Médica from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Postgraduate degree in Telemedicine, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at Escola Superior de Ciências da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Vitória in 2020. In 2016, Luziélio received a specialization in Financial Management, Auditing, and Controlling from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).

Luziélio also holds a degree in Health Audit from Fundação Unimed, which they received in 2016. Luziélio obtained their Doctor of Pulmonological Sciences degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2015, specializing in Respiratory Diseases.

Additionally, they completed their Master's degree in Public Policies and Local Development, focusing on Health Policies and Management at Escola Superior de Ciências da Saúde da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Vitória in 2012.

Finally, Luziélio began their education journey at EMESCAM, where they obtained their Medical degree in 2003. Luziélio also attended Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in 2005, where they pursued studies in Thoracic Surgery.
