Pierre Charland

Pierre Charland is an experienced transplant coordinator with a career spanning over 20 years in nursing and transplant care. Currently serving as an OSC Transplant Coordinator at TransMedics, Inc. since June 2021, Pierre previously held positions as a Transplant Coordinator at both Houston Methodist and Memorial Hermann Health System, specializing in lung transplant, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary fibrosis. Earlier in the career, Pierre was a lung transplant coordinator at The Methodist Hospital System, where coordination of post lung transplant patient care in outpatient settings was a primary responsibility. Pierre began in the nursing field as a staff RN in the CVICU. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Cegep Ste-Foy.
