Rafael Libunao

Rafael (Raff) Libunao is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as Check Airman, Training Captain, and Captain at TransMedics, Inc. since September 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Captain at Duke Aviation from August 2022 to September 2023, as well as leadership positions at Elevate Jet and Boutique Air, Inc. Rafael also has a background in finance and marketing, having worked as Financial Controller at Nicolitz Eye Consultants and Marketing Director at the University of North Florida. Educational achievements include Bachelor's degrees in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law, and Finance and Financial Management Services, alongside a minor in Educational Leadership and Administration, all from the University of North Florida, completed between 2017 and 2020.
