Jorge Braga

Jorge Braga has over 13 years of experience in risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity. From 2020 to present, they have served as the Head of ICS/OT Cybersecurity at Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica - TAESA. Prior to this role, from 2016 to 2019, they worked at the same company as a Risk and Compliance Specialist, where they implemented risk management systems, policies, and controls, and provided advisory services on IT risk assessment and governance.

Before joining TAESA, Jorge worked at PwC from 2012 to 2016 as an Experienced Sr. Associate in the Risk Assurance Practice, where they led risk assurance engagements for various clients in different sectors. Jorge Braga, also worked at KPMG from 2010 to 2012 as an IT Risk Advisory Consultant, supporting compliance engagements and performing IT compliance audits.

Jorge started their career as an IT Analyst at Senac from 2009 to 2010 and at Pulsar Tecnologia - IBM from 2007 to 2008. Jorge Braga, holds certifications in CISA, CRISC, and CDPSE, demonstrating their expertise in information systems auditing, risk management, and data privacy.

Jorge Braga has a strong education background in the field of administration and computer science. Jorge Braga, completed their graduation in Administration - Jr. Executive from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their undergraduation degree in Network Administration Technology from Faculdade de Tecnologia do Senac Rio in 2006. In 2008, they enrolled in Universidade Gama Filho to pursue a BSc in Computer Science, which is an ongoing degree.

In addition to their education, Jorge Braga has also acquired several certifications to enhance their professional expertise. Jorge Braga, became a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer™ (CDPSE™) through ISACA in 2021. In 2020, they obtained the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf. Jorge Braga, earned the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification from ISACA in 2018 and became a Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) in 2015.
