Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Arndt

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Arndt serves as a Professor for Building Automation at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen since March 2017, focusing on research areas including Smart Buildings, Smart Homes, the Internet of Things, and sustainability. Concurrently, Michael Arndt leads the Center for IoT Applications at TransMIT GmbH and previously held various academic and managerial roles in higher education and the industry, including at Bosch Thermotechnik as Department Head for the Engineering of Connected Systems. Educational qualifications include a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, a Dr.-Ing. in Microsystems from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen.
