Richard Metcalfe

Richard Metcalfe is currently the Vice President for Asia Pacific & Japan at Transmit Security, a position held since May 2021. In addition, Richard serves as a volunteer with the NSW Rural Fire Service starting in August 2023. Previously, Richard held various leadership roles at Splunk from April 2018 to May 2021, including Area Vice President and Regional Director in security. Before that, Richard served as Director for Asia Pacific & Japan at Phantom from January 2018 to May 2021. Richard's career includes significant positions at FireEye, Inc. as Regional Director - ANZ, as well as at F5 Networks and Dimension Data, holding roles that focused on security management and sales. Richard began in the security industry with Softcat as Security General Manager and Security Consultant. Richard's educational background includes a degree in Psychology & Business Management from the University of Leeds, earned between 1998 and 2001.
