Alexandre Amorim Carvalho has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Alexandre started their career as a Summer Intern at PIEP - Innovation in Polymer Engineering in 2012. In 2014, they worked as a Research Intern at Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht Zentrum für Material- und Küstenforschung. From 2015 to 2019, they served as a Stress Engineer at CERN, initially at the Design Office and later at CERN's Main Workshop. In 2020, Alexandre joined DAES SA, where they held multiple roles, including Thermal and Mechanical Analyst on the ITER project and Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer. Currently, they work as a Systems Engineer at TRANSMUTEX starting from 2023.
Alexandre Amorim Carvalho completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Structures and Aerodynamics, at the University of Lisbon between 2007 and 2014. Alexandre also obtained the Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification from INCOSE in February 2023.
