Itumeleng K. Matsheka

Itumeleng K. Matsheka (MBA) currently serves as the Group Chief of People Management and Learning and Head of Transnet Academy at Transnet SOC Ltd since November 2020, while also being a member of the Group Executive Committee and the Board of the South African International Maritime Institute (SAIMI). Previously, Itumeleng held several key HR leadership roles at Sasol, including Regional Vice President: Human Resources for South Africa Operations and General Manager of Global Human Resources for Sasol Solvents. Early in the career, Itumeleng gained experience at SARS and the South African Post Office, culminating in a solid foundation in Human Resources and Corporate Affairs. Itumeleng's educational background includes an MBA from Milpark Business School and extensive leadership and development training from prestigious institutions such as GIBS Business School and Rhodes University.
