Melsy Perez

Melsy Perez has worked in the IT field since 2009. From 2009-2016, they worked at INAC- Instituto Nacional de Areonautica Civil, where they served as a Data Security Administrator, Network Administrator, and Intern. During this time, they managed network services for 300 employees, maintained security and pertinent information of the network, and orchestrated LAN Optimization. From 2016-present, Melsy has worked at TransNetwork LLC, where they have worked as an IT Infrastructure Administrator and Infrastructure Intern. In these roles, they have managed Active Directory for all branches, administered Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, and 2019, and managed services such as AD, DNS DHCP, IIS, RDS, and VMWare 5 and 6.

Melsy Perez obtained a Network Systems and Cyber Security Certificate from Houston Community College in 2015. Melsy also studied English Language and Literature, General at the University of Houston from 2012 to 2014. Melsy attended Universidad 'Santa María' from 2011 to 2012, where they specialized in Information Technology Management. Additionally, they obtained an Engineer’s Degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica 'Antonio José de Sucre' in 2009. In 2016, Melsy obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification from Cisco.
