Joel Schwalbe has extensive experience in technology leadership roles. Joel currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Transnetyx since August 2020. Additionally, they hold positions as a Board Member at Children's Home Society of Florida and as a Chair Emeritus/National Board Member at the Society for Information Management, both starting in 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Schwalbe worked at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts from July 2016 to June 2020, where they served as the Executive Vice President of Business Services. During their tenure, they implemented various technology strategies that increased efficiency and revenue, developed budgets that led to expense savings, and introduced new technologies for growth and improved operations. Joel also led the Sales and Events teams, achieving significant increases in sales and revenue. Additionally, they re-developed the e-commerce website and developed native mobile applications for improved ticketing and customer experience. Schwalbe also oversaw technology planning and operations as the SVP, Chief Information Officer at CNL Financial Group from June 2004 to January 2016.

Before CNL Financial Group, they held the position of Vice President of Technology at ClearSky Mobile Media from March 2000 to June 2004. Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President in GCIB Network Services at Bank of America.

Joel Schwalbe pursued their education at the University of Central Florida from 1986 to 1991, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
