Daniel Ro-Trock has a strong background in corporate and securities law. Daniel worked at Transocean from 2014 to present, starting as a Senior Counsel and advancing to positions such as Chief Counsel and Senior Associate General Counsel. In their most recent role, they serve as Senior Associate General Counsel and Director of Government Relations, overseeing M&A transactions, securities compliance, litigation matters, and government relations programs. Daniel manages a team of attorneys, legal budgets, and outside counsel. Prior to Transocean, Daniel worked at Ro-Trock Consulting, where they provided legal advice to U.S. and European companies on general business and contract law. Daniel also gained experience at Baker & McKenzie as a Partner in Corporate & Securities and as an Associate from 2008 to 2013. Before that, they worked as an Associate at Winstead PC in Corporate & Securities from 2004 to 2007.
Daniel Ro-Trock completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Studies at Texas A&M University from 1996 to 2000. Daniel then pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at the University of Houston Law Center from 2001 to 2004.
