Kurt B. Hagen

Kurt B. Hagen has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as a Barge Engineer and Bargemaster at Transocean since February 2018 and at Songa Offshore since July 2014. Prior to this, Kurt worked as a Bargemaster at Diamond Offshore from 2012 to July 2014, overseeing both day and night shifts. Earlier career highlights include a role as Chief Officer at Knutsen OAS Shipping AS from July 2004 to January 2008, where responsibilities included new build commissioning and sailing duties. Kurt holds a Master Mariner degree from Austevoll and a Mariner degree from Bergen Maritime, with educational backgrounds spanning from 1993 to 1997.
