Blake Simmons

Blake Simmons has extensive experience in the biotechnology industry. Blake is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of transOMIC technologies inc., a position they have held since 2012. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations and Site Leader at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2008 to 2011. From 2002 to 2008, they were the Director of Operations at Open Biosystems. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Manager of Genomic Resources at Invitrogen from 2000 to 2002 and as the Genomics Manager at Research Genetics from 1996 to 2000.

Blake Simmons attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Sciences.
