Ali Imam Majumder is an activist and provides consultancies (short-term)
in areas of governance and development. He is a member of the Executive
Committee of the SHUJAN- Citizens for Good Governance, a civil society
platform; Independent Director, MIDAS Financing Ltd; Independent
Director, MIDAS Investment Ltd; Executive Member, SHUJAN-Citizens for Good Governance.
Before retiring as the Cabinet Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh in 2007, he served in
many positions including Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister; Member, Planning
Commission; Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment, etc.
