Arpita Roy Shawon

Arpita Roy Shawon is currently serving as an Instructor of Geography at Biddabari since April 2024. In addition, Arpita holds the position of Senior Vice President on the Executive Committee of the Dhaka University Environment Society for the term 2023-24 and works as a Research Project Coordinator with the Dhaka University Research Society. Other roles include being a Trainee at the Dhaka University English Language Club, a Climate Activist with DAEJAYON, a Youth Delegate for LCOY Bangladesh, and a Yes Member with Transparency International Bangladesh since June 2023, where Arpita has been involved in voluntary work since 2018. Additionally, Arpita serves as a Speaker for Unique Sun International Family and as a Research Assistant at BK School of Research. Arpita has been active in cultural initiatives as the Cultural Secretary for Prothom Alo Bondhushava and its branches. Educational qualifications include pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environment from the University of Dhaka, expected graduation in 2025, and prior studies at Magura Govt. Mahila College and Magura Govt. Girls' High School.
