Ian Ross Singleton

Ian Ross Singleton is a Lecturer at the University at Albany, SUNY since August 2022, with an extensive background in writing and editing. Singleton serves as Nonfiction Editor for Asymptote Journal and contributes as a freelance writer for the Los Angeles Review of Books. Previous roles include adjunct positions at Baruch College, Fordham University, and CUNY New York City College of Technology. An English Translator for TransPerfect since January 2017, Singleton has also contributed to Fiction Writers Review and served as a Judge for the Hopwood Award at the University of Michigan. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction from Emerson College, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan.
