Catherine Burke is an experienced professional in security and compliance, currently serving as Security & Compliance Lead and IS Security Officer at Transport for Greater Manchester since 2016. Catherine has expertise in leading and implementing standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, and Cyber Essentials, as well as developing a Security Awareness Training Programme. Catherine is also a member of the NWWARP Steering Group, actively participating in meetings and conferences. Previously, Catherine held roles as PCI DSS Compliance Analyst and Information Systems Development Officer at TfGM from 2005 to 2019, and was a Project Co-Ordinator at Orange from 2001 to 2003.
