Michael del Rosso

Michael Del Rosso serves as the Strategic Lead for Media & Reputation at Transport for Greater Manchester since June 2015, previously holding the position of Communications Manager. Prior to this role, Michael was a Senior Press Officer at Greater Manchester Police from November 2007 to May 2015, where notable responsibilities included managing significant incidents that attracted national and international media attention while maintaining confidentiality in a high-pressure environment. Earlier experience includes working as a Broadcast Journalist at Tower FM, Bolton, focusing on reporting and creating content tailored to audience interests. Michael holds a PG Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Leeds Trinity University, a BA (Hons) in Media and Communication Studies from Edge Hill University, and a Digital Marketing certificate from Squared Online.
