Peter Boulton

Peter Boulton is an experienced professional with a strong background in program and project management within the transportation and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Network Director Highways at Transport for Greater Manchester since June 2018, Peter also holds the position of Head of Programme Management Office (Waste & Resources) at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since January 2017. In this role, Peter has established the Programme Management Office capability linked to a significant Recycling and Waste Management PFI Contract. Peter’s previous experience at Transport for Greater Manchester spans over two decades, including roles such as Head of Programme Management Services and Metrolink Senior Programme Manager, where contributions included managing large teams and developing governance structures and standards for capital programs. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor across various sectors, providing expertise in contract management and project delivery.
