Marian Kelly is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in safety, health, and environmental management within the transportation sector. Currently serving as the Head of HSE for London Underground at Transport for London since September 2006, Marian is responsible for maintaining safety standards and managing risks. Previous roles include HSE Senior Manager, overseeing SHE professionals and collaborating with external organizations for performance benchmarking, as well as leading the Environment & Specialists team. Marian also played a pivotal role as the Environment Manager, spearheading the delivery of London Underground's Environment Strategy. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Executive for the Environmental Services Association, where environmental policies for the UK’s resource use industry were developed. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Galway and ongoing studies for a BSc in Palaeontology and Earth History at Birkbeck, University of London.
