Mark Evers

Chief Customer Officer at Transport for London

Mark Evers has extensive work experience primarily in the transportation industry. Mark has held various roles at Transport for London (TfL), starting as the Director of Delivery Unit in 2005. In this role, they managed strategic projects and was responsible for the relationship between TfL and the Mayor's Office. Mark then served as the Director of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Transport, where they oversaw TfL's contribution to the successful London 2012 Games.

Evers also held positions as the Director of Customer Strategy for both the London Underground and Corporate and Technology, where they focused on improving customer experience and developing critical elements of TfL's customer strategy. Mark later became the Chief Customer Officer for TfL, leading initiatives for improving customer experience and setting out the Tube's ambition for customer satisfaction.

Outside of TfL, Evers served as a Trustee Director for the TfL Pension Fund, where they contributed to investment decisions and played a role in managing the appeals process.

Prior to their work at TfL, Evers worked at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant, managing small teams and conducting research for strategy consulting projects across various industries. Mark also gained valuable engineering experience at BHP as a Process Engineering Cadet, where they worked on process optimization and maintenance supervision.

Mark Evers completed their education with a Higher School Certificate from Denison College - Kelso Campus in 1994. Mark then pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Sydney from 1995 to 1999. In 2014, Mark attended Cass Business School for the TfL Directors' Leadership Programme. Most recently, in 2020, they participated in the Fellowship Programme at The Marketing Academy.
