Matthew A Jones

Matthew A Jones is a seasoned professional with significant experience in economics and transport development. Currently serving as Director of Economics, Benefits and Evaluation in the Finance and Investment Division at Transport for NSW, Matthew has also held positions as Associate Director and Data and Analytics Lead for Future Transport 2056. Previous roles include General Manager of Freight Development at RailCorp and Transport Economist positions at both the Department of Infrastructure Planning and Natural Resources and Rail Access Corporation. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Transport Economics from the University of Leeds and a Master’s degree in Political Economy from the University of Sydney.
