Richard Murphy

Richard Murphy is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal sector. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Transport for NSW since October 2017, Richard has previously held positions such as Senior Legal Advisor at Angel Trains Limited and Senior Associate at Berwin Leighton Paisner. Additionally, Richard has experience working as an Associate at DLA Piper and as an In-house Lawyer for both London Transport and The Warehouse Ltd, New Zealand's largest retail group. Richard's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Auckland, and Richard is dual qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales as well as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand.
