Tharanga Withanage

Tharanga (Thara) Withanage is a highly experienced data operations analyst with a robust background in business intelligence and database management. Currently serving as a Senior Data Operations Analyst and Report Integration Specialist at Transport for NSW since September 2019, Thara has previously held positions at NSW Health as a Data Manager and at Mm Electric and Michael Page as a BI Reporting Analyst. With expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data warehouses and business intelligence reports across various departments, Tharanga's experience also includes roles as a BI Report Developer at 'COS and a Senior Database Engineer at South Asia Software Solutions. Tharanga's foundational skills were developed as a Software Engineer at Spectra Micro System (Pvt.) Ltd. Tharanga holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology and has completed additional training at TAFE NSW.
