Dai Boyce

Dai Boyce has an extensive career in the railway industry, with over 22 years of experience, which includes roles as a Train Driver for Arriva Trains Wales and Transport for Wales, and serving as a Safety Ambassador since October 2018. In addition to driving trains, Dai has contributed to safety culture as a Safety Culture Improvement Champion, facilitating workshops across various locations. A qualified Health & Safety Representative, Dai also has a background in community service, having served as a Section Officer and Specials Sergeant with South Wales Police for 21 years, recognized with a nomination for the Chief Superintendents Award. Beyond railway work, Dai is a published poetry writer and author with six books and 735 poems to date. Educationally, Dai has qualifications from various institutions, including trade union health and safety training.
