Sam Pickford

Sam Pickford is a Trainee Train Conductor at Transport for Wales since July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Performance Analyst Intern for Scarlets Rugby from November 2019 to November 2020 and as the Lead Performance Analyst for the Namibia Rugby Union from March 2017 to November 2019, contributing to the National Rugby team's efforts for the 2019 World Cup. Additional roles involve working as a Principality Premiership Performance Analyst for the WRU from October 2016 to March 2019 and as Front of House at Bar 44 from August 2016 to February 2017. Sam Pickford holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Psychology and Coaching Science from Bournemouth University, completed in 2016, and attended Llantwit Major Comprehensive School from 2005 to 2012, obtaining GCSEs and A-Levels.
