Majed Alshammari

Majed Alshammari is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as Applications Department Manager at the Transport General Authority since November 2018, Majed has held various roles including Senior Software Developer, GRP Technical Specialist, and System Developer, demonstrating proficiency as a full-stack developer. Prior experience includes a position as Software Developer at ITCL from November 2017 to November 2018, where responsibilities involved maintaining systems and developing new applications. Earlier in the career, Majed served as a Firefighter with the Saudi Civil Defence from September 2005 to January 2012, leading a rescue team and managing emergency incident responses. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Security and Digital Forensics from Technological University Dublin, completed in 2017, alongside a Foundation degree in General Studies obtained in 2013.
