Cormac Synnott

Cormac Synnott is a seasoned professional in geo-spatial technology and data management, currently serving as the Manager of the GeoSpatial Technology and Data Section at Transport Infrastructure Ireland since July 2019. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Modon, Masdar, and AECOM, where Cormac led various geo-spatial departments and managed projects across the UAE and Oman. Before these positions, Cormac held senior consulting roles with Arup and served as the GIS Lead for Wicklow County Council. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Environmental Water Engineering from University College Dublin, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Geographical Information Science from Curtin University.
