Declan Keenan

Declan Keenan is a highly qualified Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in transport planning, currently serving as a Senior Transport Planner at Transport Infrastructure Ireland since October 2015. In this role, Declan provides critical support for transport planning and scheme appraisal, focusing on Greenways and Active Travel projects. Prior to this, Declan held various positions, including Project Manager in the Strategic Planning Unit and Traffic & Transportation Consultant during a secondment at the National Road Authority. Earlier experience includes roles as a CAD Technician with TOBIN Consulting Engineers. Declan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Technological University Dublin, a Master of Arts in Early Modern History from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Ordinary) in Civil Engineering Technology from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
