Paolo C. has extensive work experience in the transportation infrastructure industry. Paolo has held various leadership roles in different companies. From 2008 to present, they have been the Head of Public Transport Capital Programmes at Transport Infrastructure Ireland, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of programs in Dublin. This includes planning, design, procurement, delivery, and operational start-up for projects such as MetroLink Dublin and Luas LRT network extensions. Prior to this, Paolo was the Head of a strategic business unit at RPA, where they led consultancy services for the Light Rail Transit and Metro industries. Paolo was also the Luas Lucan Project Manager, responsible for managing a 10 km Luas network extension. Paolo also has experience as a Visiting Lecturer at University College Dublin, where they shared their expertise in corporate presentations. Before moving to Ireland, Paolo worked at AMGC in Italy as the Country Manager, overseeing the establishment of a subsidiary company and managing the delivery of infrastructure projects. Paolo C. completed their education in a variety of fields. Paolo started by earning a Diploma in Strategy & Innovation from the Irish Management Institute in 2013-2014, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, in 2010, they obtained a Certificate of Business from the same institute. In Italy, Paolo attended the Goethe Zentrum Genua in Genoa from 2000 to 2001, where they attained the Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung, focusing on Deutsche Sprache und Kultur. Paolo'shighest level of education is a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Railway) from Università degli Studi di Genova, which they earned from 1995 to 2000, specializing in Railroad and Railway Transportation. Lastly, Paolo completed their secondary education at Liceo Mazzini in Genoa between 1985 and 1990, obtaining a Maturità classica, with a focus on classical studies. Additionally, Paolo received the Chartered Engineer certification from Engineers Ireland in May 2009.
