Sarah Carey has a diverse work experience that spans over several roles and industries.

Sarah started their career as a consultant at Sarah Carey PR, specializing in public affairs infrastructure issues. Sarah then served as the Marketing Manager at Cape Clear Software before transitioning to become a Strategy Consultant and Writer at Cuil.

In 2008, Sarah became a Columnist for The Irish Times, where they provided insightful commentary. Sarah later joined Newstalk 106-108 as a Radio Presenter, hosting the popular show "Talking Point" and covering live events.

Sarah's expertise also extends to journalism, as they became a Columnist for The Sunday Independent and The Irish Independent. Additionally, they served as a Director of Strategic Communications at Transport Infrastructure Ireland and as a Conference Chair, MC, Facilitator, and Speaker at various events.

Sarah's work in the architecture and surveying field includes their role as a Member of the Appeals Board Register of Architects & Chartered Surveyors Ireland (RIAI), where they heard appeals regarding registration.

In terms of additional certifications, they became a member of The Consultation Institute (tCI) in August 2022, a member of the CIPR – Chartered Institute of Public Relations in July 2022, and a member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland in January 2019.
