John Glomstad

John Glomstad has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies.

John most recently worked as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at PEOPLEASE since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Information Technology at National Recoveries, Inc. from June 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the overall IT strategy and delivery, including infrastructure, business intelligence, data management, architecture, security, application development, help desk, and support.

Before joining National Recoveries, Inc., John held multiple roles at UnitedHealth Group. From March 2017 to December 2018, they served as the VP of IT, Enterprise Storage Services, overseeing primary storage, backup and recovery, archive, and disaster recovery for the company's data. From July 2015 to March 2017, they were the VP of IT, Information Risk Management, leading identity management and data security services. Prior to that, from April 2006 to July 2015, they held the position of VP of IT, Database, Application, and Identity Platform Services, where they implemented various initiatives, including building an internal cloud and enhancing security with PKI and certificate tracking.

John also has prior experience working at Target, where they served as the Manager of Enterprise Architecture - Data Warehouse and BI from June 2004 to April 2006. Additionally, they worked as the Manager of Distributed Database, ensuring large-scale database platforms supported retail transaction volume with operational excellence.

Before Target, John worked at St. Paul Companies as the Manager of Database and Web Infrastructure, where they managed all database and application platforms.

Their earlier career included roles at Orion Consulting, where they worked as the Manager of Oracle ERP, responsible for technical sales and customer engagement, and at Telex Communications as a Manager.

Throughout their career, John Glomstad has demonstrated leadership and expertise in IT strategy, infrastructure, data management, security, and application development.
