Catarina Cazanova

Catarina Cazanova is a professional with extensive experience in innovation and research within academic and corporate settings. Currently serving as an intern in Corporate Venture Capital and Innovation at Eneva since October 2021, Catarina contributes to the development of the company's innovation strategy through program ideation and project management. Catarina has been involved in various research initiatives at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) since 2016, including roles as a monitor and research assistant in sustainable catalysis and environmental sanitation, demonstrating expertise in laboratory operations and catalyst preparation. Prior to these roles, Catarina contributed to a research project at Farmanguinhos/Fiocruz focused on synthesizing compounds with potential anti-tuberculosis activity. Catarina holds a degree in Bioprocess Engineering from UFRJ and completed secondary education at Colégio Pedro II.
