Derald Dudley

Lead The Transportation Theme Of The National Spatial Data Infrastructure at U.S. Department of Transportation

Derald Dudley has extensive experience in the field of transportation and geography, currently serving as the lead for the Transportation Theme of The National Spatial Data Infrastructure at the U.S. Department of Transportation since 2001. Dudley has held various project management roles, including managing the National Transit Map and the Intercity Bus Atlas, while also working as a geographer focusing on transportation networks, infrastructure, and passenger travel. In addition to this, Dudley serves as Chair of the Transportation Subcommittee for the Federal Geographic Data Committee and has experience as a cartographer with NOAA from 1997 to 2001. Dudley is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from Hood College, and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Cartography from Towson University.
