Eden Orelove

Eden Orelove is an experienced archivist and historian currently serving at the U.S. Department of Transportation since June 2023. Previously, Eden held various roles at the Smithsonian Institution, including Technical Services Archivist and Photo Archivist, where responsibilities included managing photo collections and digitizing materials. Additional experience includes supervising library access services at Georgetown University and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University. Eden's early career included roles at the National Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian Institution Archives, focusing on photographic collections and preservation. Eden holds a Master of Arts in Art History from The George Washington University, an MLIS in Archives, Preservation & Records Management from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA in English Language & Literature from the University of Washington.
