Kala Wright

Kala Wright is an experienced leader currently serving as the Director of Public Engagement and Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Previously, Kala held various positions, including Director of External Affairs at the Federal Motor Carrier Administration and the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission. With a strong background in training development and crisis management, Kala has effectively managed outreach and communication efforts while operationalizing policy initiatives. Kala earned a BA from Tufts University and an Associate's Degree in Illustration/Graphic Design from Pratt Institute.
