Trent Zempel has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Trent is currently serving as the Director of Corporate Safety for Transportation Partners & Logistics since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Performance Consultant at Modern Safety Services starting from October 2018. Trent also served as a Safety Manager at Nestlé Purina North America from September 2017 to September 2020.
From 2012 to 2017, Trent held the position of Safety Director/Staff Engineer at GLOBAL SPECIALIZED SERVICES, LLC where they gained experience in the heavy-haul, trucking, and crane business. Trent has also worked as a Saw/Core Drill Operator at Express Sawcutters in 2011 and as an Equipment Operator at Stumvoll Electric in 2010.
Furthermore, Trent has experience in various other roles such as RA, SRA, and ARA at Messiah College from 2007 to 2010, Rental Property Maintenance Worker at Quality Realty in 2009, Assistant General Foreman at Hughes General Contractors, Inc. in 2008, and Assistant Pipe Fitter/Welder at S & B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. in 2007.
Trent Zempel earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Chadron State College, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Messiah University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their educational qualifications, Trent Zempel has acquired various certifications, including being a Certified Director of Safety (CDS), which they obtained from the North American Transportation Management Institute in January 2017. Trent also holds certifications as a Rigger I and a Crane Operator from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators, obtained in August 2016 and February 2015, respectively. Furthermore, Trent Zempel obtained the certification for Freight Car Open Top Loading from the National Academy of Railroad Sciences in October 2012.
