Jean L. Laporte

Jean L. Laporte, FCPA, FCGA, has amassed significant experience in the field of finance and accounting, serving as Chief Operating Officer and Director General of Corporate Services (CFO) at the Transportation Safety Board of Canada from 1985 until retirement. Additionally, Laporte contributed as a volunteer advisor for public sector conference planning at CPA Ontario from 2000 to 2019 and was involved with the CPA Ottawa Chapter Committee and the CGA Ontario Board of Directors. Laporte holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Ottawa and a Financial Management Certificate from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
