Matthew Brown

Matthew Brown is a Human Factors Specialist and Research Analyst at the Transportation Safety Board of Canada since January 2024. Previously, Matthew worked as a Staff UX Researcher at Klipfolio from November 2020 to September 2023, and as a Senior UX and Marketing Researcher at Shopify from August 2017 to September 2020. Prior to that, Matthew served as a Research Scientist at Carleton University from March 2006 to July 2017. Matthew holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Experimental Psychology and a Master of Arts (MA) in Experimental Psychology from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from McMaster University.
