Lynda Wood

Lynda Wood has a strong background in human resources. Lynda began their career at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting as an Associate from 1990 to 1994. Lynda then joined AIG in 1994 and worked there as Director of Human Resources for 15 years. During their time at AIG, they managed a team of 50 HR professionals and oversaw HR operations for 4,500 employees across 30 different organizations. Wood also led a major benefits review project and successfully implemented new contracts for all UK employees. In 2009, they joined Transatlantic Reinsurance as the SVP & CAO, where they focused on HR and international non-production activities for the company. Their responsibilities covered the UK, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.

Lynda Wood has a diverse educational background. In 1980 to 1985, they attended Neale Wade for GCSEs and Peterborough Technical College for A levels, where they obtained O & A levels. Following this, from 1986 to 1989, Lynda pursued their BSc in Psychology from the University of Leicester. Later, they enrolled at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1992 to 1994, where they completed their MSc in Industrial Relations and HR. Additionally, Lynda has obtained a certification in MSc Industrial Relations and HRM from LSE.
