Mark Schopfer FSA, MAAA, CERA has extensive work experience in the actuarial field. Mark is currently an Assistant Vice President at TransRe, where they are primarily responsible for pricing and monitoring reinsurance for employer stop-loss insurance programs. Mark Schopfer FSA, MAAA, CERA completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from Rutgers University, from 2000 to 2003. Before that, they attended Glassboro High School from 1996 to 2000. Mark obtained their first actuarial certification as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries in December 2007. In July 2010, they became a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst through the Society of Actuaries. Mark furthered their credentials by becoming a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in August 2012. Lastly, in August 2018, they achieved membership in the American Academy of Actuaries.
