Jim Beattie

Jim Beattie currently serves as Interim CTO at Transreport since July 2024. Previously, Beattie co-founded Fortis and held the position of CTO from July 2020 to July 2024, and served as Chief Technology Officer at OYO Vacation Homes from September 2017 to September 2020, where efforts led to a fivefold growth in two years through integrations with OTAs and AI-driven pricing models. Beattie has also been an investor and advisor at 1000 Labs, Senior Vice President of Engineering at Time Out Group, and contributed significantly to various leadership roles at JUST EAT, enhancing team performance and technology adoption across multiple international markets. Beattie's career began at The University of Manchester, where a degree in Computing was earned from 1997 to 2001.
