Krista Palen

Associate Director at Transsolar KlimaEngineering

Krista Palen has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Krista started their career in 2012 as a Design Research Assistant at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering. In 2013, they joined Transsolar Inc as a Project Engineer and later became an Associate Director in 2019. In the same year, they also started working as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at MIT SustainableDesignLab in 2013.

Krista Palen earned a Master of Design degree in Energy and the Environment from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Krista attended this program from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Krista Palen studied Environmental Engineering at the University of Guelph, but the specific years of enrollment are unknown.
