Andrew van Damms

Andrew Van Damms is a seasoned professional in data privacy and information governance, currently serving as a Senior Data Privacy Consultant at TransUnion since August 2021. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions at Trafford Council, including Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer from January 2019 to August 2021, as well as Principal Information Governance Officer at Salford City Council from March 2010 to January 2019. Andrew's career began at the Information Commissioner's Office, where responsibilities included Casework and Advice Manager and Guidance and Promotion Officer from April 2005 to March 2010. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from The University of Manchester, obtained between 1998 and 2001.
