Kevin Hughes

Kevin Hughes has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Kevin began their career as a Policy Analyst/Special Assistant in the Office of Senator Bob Graham, where they worked on various areas such as banking, patents and trademarks, and commercial fisheries. Kevin then worked as an Associate at Dow Lohnes PLLC, focusing on purchase and sale transactions for media, communications, and for-profit education companies, as well as advising publicly traded companies on corporate matters.

Kevin later joined Pepper Hamilton LLP as an Associate, primarily handling acquisitions and dispositions for clients in the food services industry and assisting emerging companies with corporate matters. Kevin then worked at Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP as an Associate before joining Bingham McCutchen as Counsel. At Bingham McCutchen, Kevin provided legal advice on domestic and cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing, debt financing, and corporate governance to clients.

Kevin's most recent role was at Neustar, Inc., where they served in various positions. Kevin started as an Associate General Counsel, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and securities. Kevin then became the VP of Corporate Law, Securities, and Corporate Secretary, providing strategic advice on the company's go-private sale and other corporate acquisitions. After that, Kevin was promoted to Senior VP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, overseeing the company's CFIUS compliance program and guiding the formation and business strategy of the government contracting business. Kevin'slast role at Neustar was as EVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, where they advised on the company's $3.1 billion sale to TransUnion and implemented the formation of the security service business as a separate portfolio company.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated expertise in M&A, corporate governance, telecommunications, data processing and storage, and compliance.

Kevin Hughes attended Marist from 1986 to 1992, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
