Lara Root Chre

Lara Root CHRE serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of HR for U.S. Markets and Global Solutions at TransUnion since June 2022, overseeing the HR function in the U.S. Additionally, Lara is a member and Chair of the Board at The Jean Tweed Centre, an organization dedicated to supporting women with substance use, gambling, and mental health concerns. From September 2015 to October 2023, Lara was a Board Member of the Strategic Capability Network, facilitating collaboration among HR leaders and advisors. Prior experience includes roles as Chief People Officer at CBI Health, Vice President of Human Resources at Rogers Communications, and VP of Human Resources at TD. Earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Citicards Canada and Leader of Human Resources at Bell. Lara holds degrees in Sociology from Queen's University, Human Resources Management from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, and is a Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.
