Margaret Ma is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as CIO Canada at TransUnion since May 2023, Margaret leads technological initiatives at a global information and insights firm. Prior to this, Margaret held the position of Vice President, Technology - Registry and Property Solutions at Teranet Inc., where expertise in statutory registry services and data insight was leveraged. As Vice President of Canadian Banking Technology at Scotiabank, Margaret focused on data architecture, analytics, and compliance within the financial sector. At OMERS, responsibilities included enterprise architecture, IT portfolio management, and strategic planning. Additionally, Margaret has significant experience from American Express, where roles ranged from Director of Technical Delivery to consultant, establishing and executing technical strategies across various regions. Earlier career experiences included a consultant role at Bank of Montreal, specializing in lending projects.
